Tryon Creek State Park Results

A total of 149 participants attended this year's Tryon Creek State Park O-Meet. The Aughenbayh Team burned up the 1.5 KM White Course with a first place finishing time of 16:00 minutes. The winner of on the Yellow Course was the Chisholm Team who cruised through the 4.2 kilometers in 30:39 minutes. The big event the day was he Score-O, which had the twist of limiting travel to trails only. Andy Dale blazed the course, earning a total score of 69 (out of a total 82 points possible). Some fun facts from the Score-O include the following: all 31 controls were visited at least once, control 51 was least popular (north of the law college baseball diamonds), and number 28 was most popular (thicket in middle of clearing by park entrance).
