    "Training?! Blah." you say. Well, sure, its not a fun word. But hey, practice makes perfect right? Now I'm not talkin' about finger stretches for punching your control card, I'm talkin' about trying out a few things to help make your time out in the woods the most enjoyable it can be.     Permanent training course at Mt. Tabor: The Mazamas, a Portland area mountaineering and hiking club, maintain a permanent map and compass training course on Mt. Tabor.
