Mt. Hood Meadows Nordic Center will be having their end-of-season party with music, food, and prizes. The main event will be a one-hour score-o in the form of an Easter egg hunt on skis, a popular format used three years ago. Get to as many locations circled on the map as you can within 1 hour. Punch your card at each location. You can go in any order. At locations marked with eggs, pick up an Easter egg for an additional point. In addition, during the middle of the event, the Easter Bunny will be skiing around with bonus eggs for those who find him. Tie scores will be decided by fastest time. If you take more than 1 hour, you will lose a point for every minute you are overtime, so don’t be late.
- Registration opens at 10 am
- Mass start at 11 am
- Finish by noon
The event is free to individuals and teams, so come on up and enjoy the party and the spring snow.
A sno-park permit is required. Rental equipment is available at the Nordic Center.
Mt. Hood Meadows is located across from the Teacup Lake sno-park, on Hwy 35, eight miles east of the Hwy 26 split. This is the lower, eastern, Hood River Meadows lot. Park on the far right end.
