Zer-O Series - Mt Tabor

DESCRIPTION

This Zero-O training features a short course at Mt Tabor.

Skill level:  intermediate and advanced

Type:  training, focus on route planning

Three very short courses are available (0.5, 0.6, and 0.9km).  The navigation is intentionally easy to moderate in difficulty so that participants can practice planning ahead.  There will be several controls in close proximity to one another (sometimes closer than is normally allowed) so you have to be careful to check the codes to make sure you are at the right control. The key is to read ahead so you know your route and also to know the code so you don’t have to stop or slow down too much as you approach the control. The idea is to approach the control already knowing which control code you are looking for and which direction you will head to find the next control without coming to a stop at or near the control.  Complete 1, 2, or all 3 courses.

Course opens at 9:30 and closes at 10:30, which is when registration for our Classic event will open.
