• Informational Talk on COC's Winter League (also known as the Youth League)

We are entering a winter-y time of the year, but our neighbors to the north at Cascade Orienteering Club (COC) have a cracking orienteering schedule from now through February.

There are eight events in the Winter League geared primarily towards youth orienteering, with the public of all ages also invited.  If this sounds interesting and you want to learn more, please join host Mike (electro) Bruns for an informational talk.

We will talk about what to expect at these large events, often in the rain, sometimes with over 500 participants, most of them youth.  We'll go over some logistics, good ways to break up the drive, and how we might coordinate if we have a group going to one or more events.
