CROC Advanced Trainings are monthly opportunities to practice and improve orienteering skills or to increase CROC’s capacity, and to learn with others. These events are for club members only, at no cost. Pre-registration is required.

Course Design Workshop

As we start the season of Foot-O meets, this workshop is a “tune-up” for course designers and an introduction for members who are interested in learning course design. We’ll all share our wisdom, with some review of key design points for Intermediate and Advanced courses. We’ll practice designing an “arm-chair” course, and learn Best Tricks from those present. If you’re a course designer this year, bring your venue map and any draft course ideas you have.

We’ll meet indoors at a Southeast Portland location.
