Event Overview
Wildwood: Follow the Crows is a new public art trail presented by LAIKA, in partnership with OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Wild in Art, the Portland Metro Chamber, and Downtown Portland Clean & Safe, with support from the Visit Downtown Campaign.
This event will have you exploring downtown Portland as you search for the Crows scattered throughout the city. Each Crow is unique, and unlike a traditional orienteering event, you can even stop for coffee if you need a boost!
The Crow-O uses MapRun, a smartphone-based orienteering app that automatically records your progress as you visit controls. Be sure to download the MapRun app and have your map and event PIN ready before heading downtown.
Course Notes
Make sure the MarRun app is installed on your phone and that you have received your PDF map and event PIN before heading to the start.
You have two hours to complete the course and find as many controls as possible.
Results will be posted on the CROC website after Oct 31.
Crow 18: GPS accuracy is very poor in the area around this control. After punching Crow 18, head toward the entrance of the building adjacent to the northwest corner of the athletic field to see the Crow itself.
